Itinerary
You are greeted on arrival at the Kochi International Airport/Railway station by The Travel Planners representative and transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day free to relax in the Hotel.
Today morning after breakfast you can go for the sightseeing of Cochin. Here you can see the St Francis Church, the oldest Church in India, 500 year old Portuguese Houses, Cantilevered Chinese fishing nets, 16th century Synagogue, Jew Town and Mattancherry Palace, built by Portuguese, this Palace contains some of India’s most beautiful murals. Evening go for shopping. Evening enjoy a Kathakali dance performance.
Morning drive to Periyar and on arrival, check in at the hotel. Late afternoon enjoy a boat cruise on Lake Periyar to view wildlife.
Morning visit spice market and spice plantation. Elephant ride and trekking
Morning drive to Kumarakom and on arrival check-in at the hotel. Late afternoon sunset boat cruise on Lake Vembanad.
Late morning board the Kettuvalam (houseboat) and spend the day cruising through the backwaters. Overnight on board the houseboat.
Morning disembark the houseboat and drive to Mararikulam. Rest of the day free to relax in the beach.
After breakfast you can go for Village Walk, Cycling etc.. Evening rest and relax in the beach.
In time transfer to the Cochin airport for onward flight.
